Ink technology

What does alcohol-based ink mean?
The technological basis of HI-CLASS INK is high-purity ethanol, which acts as a primary carrier medium with an exceptional evaporation rate. This property of the carrier is key to achieving lightning-fast ink fixation: as soon as it hits the surface, the alcohol base evaporates almost immediately, thereby “locking” the dye to the material in an instant.
This physicochemical stabilization process does not require any external drying elements, thus saving energy and space on your line. By using alcohol as a carrier, the ink is able to achieve excellent adhesion on semi-porous and many smooth surfaces without excessive loading or degradation. The result is a precise, dry and high-contrast print immediately after leaving the print head.
  • Ink type: Alcohol-based
  • Drying time: 2–5 seconds
  • Printing distance: up to 5 mm
  • Decap time (Opening time): Extremely long (up to 24 hours)
  • Shelf life: One year from date of filling
  • Operating conditions: 15 °C to 35 °C

Available HI-CLASS INK ink variants

Ink Type Color Markup sample Description Dry time Decap time Drying method Shelf life
HI-CLASS DARK RED Red ink marking example This premium red ink represents an innovative bio-based solution that fully complies with the strict French regulations for the elimination of mineral oils (MOF). It excels in high stability in continuous operation, improved drying speed and strong adhesion to a wide range of demanding non-porous substrates, including various types of films and foils. Its advanced formulation ensures sharp print quality and is an environmentally responsible choice for operations that value safety and sustainability. 1-5 seconds 24 hours Air 12 months
HI-CLASS WHITE White ink marking example Industrial ink with extremely high coverage is designed specifically for clear marking on dark and black surfaces, where it ensures maximum readability. It is ideal for demanding non-porous materials such as rubber, cables, cosmetic packaging or components in the automotive industry. In addition to stand-alone marking, it can also be used as a base layer for subsequent multi-color printing, while meeting RoHS certification and free of PFAS. 1–5 seconds 20 min Air 6 months
HI-CLASS YELLOW Yellow ink marking example Bright yellow pigment solvent ink is developed to achieve excellent optical contrast on dark substrates, where standard colors fail. It is used mainly in automotive production, for marking rubber parts, cables or cosmetic packaging. Thanks to its specific pigmentation, it has been successfully tested and has proven excellent adhesion and readability even on difficult aluminum surfaces. 1–5 seconds 20 min Air 6 months
HI-CLASS LIGHT BLUE Turquoise blue ukazka ukazky čení em černí Turquoise blue solvent ink with high density and opacity is optimized for clearly visible printing on dark non-porous substrates. It is an ideal choice for industries requiring high durability and visibility of markings, such as automotive, cable manufacturing or the cosmetics industry. The ink guarantees reliable print quality on non-porous materials, is RoHS compliant and is manufactured without PFAS. 1-5 seconds 20 min Air 6 months
HI-CLASS BLUE Blue ink marking example This premium blue solvent-based ink is designed for sharp and vibrant printing on high-gloss, non-porous surfaces such as blister foils or aluminum substrates. It complies with French regulations on mineral oils and excels with excellent adhesion, high density and consistent print quality. Its versatility, RoHS compliance, and PFAS-free nature make it a reliable solution for a wide range of films and foils in industrial packaging. 1-5 seconds 24 hours Air 6 months
